Winter Wonderland at the Beach hosts special Thursday night activities
Start planning your Thursdays in December at Myrtle Beach's Winter Wonderland at the Beach! We have exciting events planned for Thursdays... December 1, December 8 and December 15!
Thursday, December 1
At 6:00 p.m. join us to light the Christmas tree along the Boardwalk, near the sand volleyball courts by Ninth Avenue North. There will also be an Art Walk at the covered areas of the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Avenues North street ends, presented by the Seacoast Artists Guild.
Thursday, December 8
Come early with your bicycles decorated in holiday theme! At 6:00 p.m. at Grand Strand Brewing, 819 North Kings Highway, bicyclists will begin the Holiday Slow Roll down Ninth Avenue North and down the Boardwalk, under the lights. Enjoy trivia at the brewery after the Slow Roll with Myrtle Beach's Troy Marron.
Thursday, December 15
Starting training for the Twinkling Two Miler, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Plyler Park. The two mile run will take you through the spectacular lights display along the Boardwalk. All participants will be entered into a raffle prize drawing, but this is an untimed race. It costs $25 to enter. Participants will receive a bib, shirt and finisher medal.
