City of Myrtle Beach seeking poet laureate
Myrtle Beach’s Cultural Resources Committee is seeking applicants for the city’s new Poet Laureate! Appointed by Council, this two-year position will be the poetic voice of Myrtle Beach, working to promote cultural heritage, literacy and creative writing among residents of all ages. Duties will include appearances at civic events, schools, community centers and libraries.
