The best defense against respiratory illness – the common cold, the flu or the corona virus – is to keep yourself healthy. That means washing your hands, disinfecting frequently-touched surfaces, not touching your mouth/nose/face with unclean hands, using an elbow bump or other greeting besides a handshake, staying home if you are feeling unwell, calling your healthcare provider if you have symptoms and encouraging your family and friends to follow these directions, too.
