Important information for City of Myrtle Beach customers during the Coronavirus outbreak

Dear City of Myrtle Beach Customer,

Your health and safety are our top priority. The City of Myrtle Beach is closely monitoring the novel coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) with the safety of our customers and staff in mind. We are reviewing and updating policies, communicating changes and bolstering our own hygiene habits.

Public Health organizations encourage everyone to practice “social distancing” to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Accordingly, the City of Myrtle Beach will be closed for over-the-counter payments for the time being. We do have several alternatives that allow you to continue doing business with city.

Utility Billing Customers: We encourage you to use our free online tools to pay your bill.

• You can pay your bill with our automated system, 24/7, by calling 844-571-2888. You will need your utility account number.
• You can pay your bill using our online payment system, 24/7, by using the following link https://ipn2.paymentus.com/cp/mrtl. You will need your utility account number.
• You can drop your payment into one of our two convenient drop boxes or at our drive-through cashier window at the City Services Building, 921 N. Oak Street. Please note that our drop boxes are available 24/7, and our drive-thru cashier window is available during normal business hours.
• If you need to start water service, you can download and complete your application at http://cms6.revize.com/revize/myrtlebeachsc/New%20Service%20Fillable%20Application%20(Business%20or%20Commercial).pdf. After you complete your application, please call Customer Service at the phone number below for assistance on finalizing the application process.

If you have questions, if you need your utility account number, or if you need help starting or stopping water service, please call Customer Service at 843-918-1212 or 1-800-617-7758.

Business License Customers: We encourage our customers to mail in your business license renewal form and payment. We also have two convenient drop boxes and a drive-thru cashier window that you can use to drop off your renewal form and payment. The drop boxes are available 24/7 and the drive-thru cashier window is available during normal business hours.

Please note that your business license will be mailed after we have reviewed and processed your renewal form. If you have any questions concerning your business license renewal, please call Customer Service at 843-918-1200.
