City of Myrtle Beach has changed the way its utility bill "late notices" look

A friendly reminder, the City of Myrtle Beach has changed the way its utility bill "late notices" look. You may recall seeing information about the change in June. We are discontinuing the red sealed form. New "late notices" look like this and will arrive in a window envelope. They will be the same size as your monthly utility bill.

On June 29, we resumed adding late penalties to bills that were past due and started mailing late notices to customers. These were suspended in March due to mandatory business closures statewide. On July 8, we resumed water cut-offs for accounts which were past due. If you experienced a financial hardship due to COVID-19 and need special arrangements, please contact customer service at 843-918-1212.
