The new John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center sign will be unveiled and dedicated at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, April 3. Here’s a mock-up of a plaque that will be displayed inside the center honoring the former mayor’s contributions. The public is invited to Saturday’s event. Rhodes died in January of COVID-19.
