FIRST IN SERVICE FRIDAY SURPRISE. Please help the City of Myrtle Beach congratulate Rob Faro of the Public Works Department for being this week's First in Service Friday Employee of the Week! First, we would like to share that Rob is a veteran. Thank you for your service! He works as a street sweeper crew leader under the Stormwater Maintenance Division of Public Works. He's been with the City of Myrtle Beach for more than 15 years, and his award is a total SURPRISE for him today. Congratulations, Rob.

"I would like to nominate Rob Faro for First in Service Friday. Rob is a great leader and co-worker who puts his crew first. He even scheduled himself to work this past Thanksgiving so his crew members could have that time with their families. If a crew member calls out sick, he will work extra to cover their shift and make sure the downtown area is swept. The extra effort and his commitment to the city really makes a big difference for the sweepers' performance, the team and how clean our streets are!
He's a detail-oriented communicator with his team and succeeds with the goals he sets. It's clear he's dedicated to the City of Myrtle Beach because he's worked for Myrtle Beach for 15 years. We appreciate Rob so much!"
