Crosswalk installation and fountain repair at Valor Memorial Garden on Tuesday, April 11
A lot of action is going on around Valor Memorial Garden today. One of the fountains was drained yesterday when Myrtle Beach crews located a leak. They’re out today getting it fixed! Thank you to our Public Works and PRST Departments for working on the project. We hope to have the fountain back up and running by the end of the week.
Also by Valor Memorial Garden, crews are installing the new decorative crosswalks at the intersections of Farrow Parkway and Hackler Street and Farrow Parkway and Nevers Street. The project is expected to be completed by Sunday, April 16, weather-depending. Please expect outer lane closures on Farrow Parkway while the work is completed. One lane of traffic will be open at all times during the project. Hackler and Nevers Streets will be closed during the duration of the work. Detours will be posted.
