Myrtle Beach Sports Tourism Division seeking volunteers for upcoming track meets
Volunteers are needed for two NCAA Conference Championship track-and-field meets at Myrtle Beach’s Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium this month and next. The Division II Conference Carolina Championship is Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29. The Division I Sun Belt Conference championship is Thursday through Saturday, May 11-13. Our Sports Tourism Division welcomes you to assist with these events. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, and those who are 18 and older are required to pass a background check.
Volunteers should prepare for all types of weather, and wear khaki shorts or pants with tennis shoes. Each volunteer receives a t-shirt, food and beverages during the event.
