Mosquito spraying has begun; protect your beehives
Protects your bees! Register your hive that's inside the City of Myrtle Beach's city limits today by calling (843) 918-2000. Staff members avoid spraying in the area of registered beehives.
Mosquito spraying usually begins May 1, but we began spraying this past Monday, April 24. The spray does not affect animals or humans. We cover the city from north to south during the weekdays, weather permitting. Please see the spraying schedule below.
Spraying begins at about 4:30 p.m. on the following schedule:
Mondays – 62nd Avenue North to northern City Limits
Tuesdays – 21st Avenue North to 62nd Avenue North
Wednesdays – Third Avenue South/501 to 21st Avenue North
Thursdays – 17th Avenue South to Third Avenue South (includes Highway 15 corridor)
Fridays – 17th Avenue South to southern city limits
