First in Service Friday: Jamie Bono
FIRST IN SERVICE FRIDAY. Please help the City of Myrtle Beach congratulate Jamie Bono for being this week's First in Service Friday Employee of the Week! Jamie is an administrative assistant with the Public Works Department, but started her City of Myrtle Beach career with the Myrtle Beach Police Department as a records clerk. Then, she became a police officer! She is originally from New York, but has called Myrtle Beach home for more than six years. "I love being able to help people, and this job allows me to assist my fellow co-workers while still being able to help the community," Jamie says. Her nomination reads:
"I'd like to nominate Jamie Bono. Jamie trained me when I first arrived at Public Works last October. During that time, I got to know her and her role here in the City of Myrtle Beach. As our protocol changes and the questions arise, she always has a lending ear to answer any/all questions that I and many others have. She is the hub of all frontline knowledge and is an overall wonderful person. Jamie also has selflessly helped coordinate surprises for other co-workers who have been awarded with 'First in Service Friday.' It's her turn!"
