July Fourth events in Myrtle Beach

JULY 3, 2023

Making plans to spend your Fourth of July in Myrtle Beach? Make sure not to miss the 14th annual Salute from the Shore military flyover event in the early afternoon and fireworks at night!

Salute from the Shore, a not-for-profit grassroots organization that celebrates our nation’s military, hosts the 14th annual vintage aircraft flyover event from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., tomorrow, Tuesday, July 4. Weather permitting, everyone is invited to wear red, white and blue and wave to the pilots flying along the South Carolina shoreline. To learn more, see https://www.salutefromtheshore.org. The jets are expected to flyover Myrtle Beach at 1:00 p.m.

Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance hosts a special Independence Day Fireworks Show tomorrow, Tuesday, July 4, at 9:00 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from Second Avenue Pier and will be viewable along the city’s beachfront and Ocean Boulevard. (Note: For residents and visitors with sound sensitivities, Autism Spectrum Disorder or PTSD, please plan ahead to wear noise-cancelling headphones at 9:00 p.m. or avoid the beachfront area. Don’t forget to prepare pets with anxiety, too!) To learn more about the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance, visit https://www.mbdowntown.org/.
