First in Service Friday Winner:  Parker Rehm!

September 1, 2023.

Please help the City of Myrtle Beach congratulate Parker Rehm as this week’s First in Service Friday Employee of the Week! Parker is an information technology analyst for the IT Department.

Parker works largely for the Myrtle Beach Police Department, but that doesn’t stop him from assisting others with their technological needs. He is incredibly well-versed with computer software and video technology. On numerous occasions, Parker has gone above and beyond working to get our systems up-and-running… And in today’s world that’s a necessity!

Parker’s knowledge aside, he is also an enjoyable employee. He has a positive influence on those around him and a great First in Service attitude that makes him a true delight. He received two nominations for his outstanding character. They read:

“I want to nominate Parker Rehm for First in Service Friday. He has been an integral part to our team, not only helping bolster the city's infrastructure, but also helping numerous departments with their streaming needs. From helping at the John. T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center, setting up an entire streaming network, to helping make sure Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium is prepped for ESPN to come and stream, he really has been a vital part of the IT department and in the City as well.”

“We would like to nominate Parker Rehm for the First in service award. We consider that Parker is an asset in our team, he is always willing to help and go above and beyond to get things done the proper way. He was with no doubt an excellent acquisition for the IT Department and represents the First in Service attitude every time.”

Thank you, Parker, for your commitment to our community. Your talent, charisma and hard work is appreciated!
