WWII Memorial dedication ceremony set for Thursday, November 9
The globe has been revealed, as the World War II Memorial comes to life at Myrtle Beach’s Warbird Park. The plaza features a map of the world, as shown in these images. Still to come are brass markers on the map for the major conflicts during the war, and etched granite images will fill the wall. Dedication ceremonies for the new memorial are set for 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, just in time for Veterans Day. Please plan to join us.
