City of Myrtle Beach's WWII Memorial nearing completion
The etched granite plaques were installed Tuesday at Myrtle Beach’s new World War II Memorial. The memorial is coming to life at Warbird Park, in time for a dedication ceremony at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9. The photographic granite panels – 10 in all – tell the story of the soldiers, planes and places where Americans fought.
