First in Service Friday: Jamie Hill

FIRST IN SERVICE FRIDAY. Please help the City of Myrtle Beach congratulate Jamie Hill for being this week's First in Service Friday Employee of the Week! Jamie is a heavy equipment operator with the city's Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism Department. Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Jamie moved to Myrtle Beach and started his career with the city four years ago. He's a U.S. Army veteran and we are happy he's part of the City of Myrtle Beach team. His nomination reads:

"I nominate Jamie Hill for his First in Service attitude. Jamie is dependable and always there to help out when needed. Whether it's filling in on a different shift, helping out other operators or rearranging his schedule/equipment... he always ensures the beach is clean. Jamie has no problem helping others. He frequently helps train new operators and with beach equipment maintenance and repairs. Jamie’s willingness to learn and dedication are great assets to the city and his department."
