First in Service Friday: Dave Weaver

FIRST IN SERVICE FRIDAY  Please help the City of Myrtle Beach congratulate Dave Weaver for being this week's First in Service Friday Employee of the Week! Dave is a code enforcement officer with the Solid Waste Division of the Public Works Department. He's been with the city for 21 years, and was one of the original employees on the first Alert Crew. Dave has lived in Myrtle Beach for more than 30 years, but is originally from New Jersey. He says his favorite part about working for the City of Myrtle Beach is "the people and getting to do something different every day." His nomination reads:

"I wanted to share a nomination from a few team members and me... Dave Weaver is truly First in Service. He is a team player, a partner within the city and a community partner. He works hard to keep our community clean and safe by initiating calls for service that he sees, and addressing complaints that come in from our community and other city departments. He is easygoing, has the patience of a lion, is easy to talk to and finds solutions to problems. He is the teammate you want on your team, and the one we are blessed with that continues to serve. He can be relied on to help, whether it is addressing one area that needs attention or several. He helps develop a plan, implements and works with our team members to get it done, or sometimes just gets it done by himself...because he knows how important it is.
