WWII Memorial inches closer to completion
This is a clay version of a bronze sculpture which will grace the new World War II Memorial under construction at Myrtle Beach’s Warbird Park. It was created by Tuck Langland, an Indiana artist whose monument-sized bronze sculptures are featured around the country. Langland has several sculptures on display at Brookgreen Gardens. Titled “Up, Up and Away,” the creation is a P47 Thunderbolt soaring upwards.
