Eleven World War II veterans honored during dedication ceremony
Here are the biographies and photos of the 11 World War II veterans who were on hand for Thursday’s dedication ceremony of the World War II Memorial at Warbird Park. They range in age from 95 to 102 and were involved in all branches of service, plus the Merchant Marines. All live locally along the Grand Strand. Myrtle Beach thanks and applauds the patriotism of this “greatest generation”!
