Myrtle Beach's "Shop with a Hero" program featured by international magazine
Myrtle Beach’s “Shop with a Hero” program was featured in the December 18 issue of Woman’s World. The Police and Fire Departments raise money each year to take 30 youngsters shopping at Christmas time. The annual “Shop with a Hero” is a treat for police officers and firefighters, too, as they get to be Santa’s helpers. The magazine was spotted in Germany by a police officer’s relative who lives there.
