Expect lane closures along Broadway St. Monday, Feb. 12
Drivers can expect detours on Broadway Street in downtown Myrtle Beach next Monday, and possibly Tuesday, February 12-13. The contractor installing underground utility conduits will cross Broadway at Sixth Avenue North, which means lane closures. Access will be maintained to businesses, but traffic will be detoured around the work on adjacent streets as shown in the attached diagrams. If the work isn’t completed in one day, Broadway will be reopened during the evening hours and closed again the next morning. This is part of the infrastructure for the Arts & Innovation District.
