First in Service Friday: Melissa Elsibai
Please help the City of Myrtle Beach congratulate Melissa Elsibai for being this week's First in Service Friday Employee of the Week! Melissa is a Ministerial Recorder with the Municipal Court. She was a Customs Broker in New York, near the Canadian border, before coming to Myrtle Beach in 1999. She's worked for the City of Myrtle Beach for five years, saying "I enjoy the people, the leadership and that there's something new every day. My co-workers make every day fun!" Her nomination reads:
"I would like to nominate Melissa Elsibai, in the Clerk of Courts, for First in Service Friday. Melissa always goes above and beyond for customers, the police department staff, the judges and our supervisors. She is always sweet and kind to everyone, regardless of how some people we deal with are toward her. She is the one that will bend over backwards to help any of our teammates and the public. I don’t think she gets the recognition that she should. She really is a First in Service employee!"
