Artist sketching the canvas for Interactive mural on the side of Gordo's Tacos and Tequila in Myrtle Beach

Muralist, Rick Forest is in the beginning stage of creating an interactive mural of a cartoon octopus on the Chester Street side of Gordo's Tacos and Tequila, 214 Ninth Avenue North. The artwork will take nearly two weeks to complete. In May, the Community Appearance Board approved two outside murals for buildings in the downtown area. The mural of a motorcycle in a landscape setting will appear on the exterior of the Grand Strand Law Group building at 401 Broadway Street.
