Governor orders evacuation for Zone A at noon Monday

Governor Henry McMaster has ordered a mandatory evacuation for Zone A in Horry County beginning at 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 2.  In Myrtle Beach, Zone A includes all areas east of US 17 Business, as shown on the attached image.  Evacuation routes westward also are pictured on the attached map.  The evacuation order is for Hurricane Dorian, which is expected to affect Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand beginning late Wednesday and continuing into Thursday.
