Building permits can still be submitted during the Coronavirus outbreak

The City of Myrtle Beach Construction Services Department will issue building permits via email or fax, due to the growing concerns of the coronavirus (COVID-19). If customers cannot submit new construction plans or plans revisions, digitally, the documents can be delivered to the drop box in the front lobby of the Construction Services building, 921 North Oak Street. Paperwork, plans, or plan revisions that are dropped off will not be processed or reviewed for at least 48 hours from the time it enters the drop box.
