Myrtle Beach Barc Parcs reopen Monday

Myrtle Beach’s off-leash Barc Parcs reopen Monday, May 18…. Anxious pets (and their owners) will be glad to know that our two off-leash dog parks are reopening today with their regular hours. Social distancing is still necessary, so please keep that in mind! Barc Parc North, adjacent to the Claire Chapin Epps Family Y, reopens at 6:30 a.m., while Barc Parc South, in Seagate Village near the Market Common area, reopens at 11:00 a.m. today.

Both parks are fully fenced and offer separate areas for large and small dogs. Dogs must meet height requirements, which are posted on the entrance gates. Rules for behavior also are posted, and owners are responsible for picking up after their pets and properly disposing of the waste. Handy picker-uppers are provided. South Barc Parc is closed every Monday from 6:30 to 11:00 a.m. for maintenance. North Barc Parc is closed every Thursday from 6:30 to 11:00 a.m. for maintenance.
