SC Governor allows tourist attractions to reopen this Friday

Governor Henry McMaster announced today that some entertainment venues and tourist attractions may reopen later this week, but other businesses and activities are still closed due to concerns about COVID-19. Entertainment venues, such as museums, aquariums, Ferris wheels, miniature golf courses, go-kart tracks, indoor play areas and bingo halls may reopen beginning Friday, May 22. However, nightclubs, concert venues, theaters, racetracks and adult entertainment establishments remain closed for now by the governor’s order. Outdoor sporting activities, including Dixie Youth and adult softball leagues, can resume practices beginning May 30, with competitive play beginning June 15.
